Gailey + Noah’s Christ centered day is an emotion filled wedding I will never forget. Although the stress of COVID was constant during their engagement, they remained focused on what was truly important – each other. When the months finally passed and their big day was here, it was everything they could have dreamed of and more! The unique urban feel, warm neutral colors, and emotional “first touch” and prayer was just the beginning of all the goodness…
When I meet with my couples, I often ask them what their hope for their special day is. What is their main focus? Is there a feeling or emotion they want their guests to leave with? What do they want their wedding photos to say, and what do they want to feel when they look back through them years from now? When I approached Gailey + Noah with these questions, they shared their love for Christ with me and it became abundantly clear that their wedding would be a day He was glorified.
And let me tell you, their day did JUST that. These two chose to honor each other and their marriage by taking communion, having a moment of worship, and also a moment of prayer. Gailey + Noah’s ceremony was easily the sweetest I have ever attended and there was not one dry eye in the house. Christ’s love and presence was so clear during those moments and the entire day, and I smile when I look at these photos because of that. Even amongst COVID craziness, sickness, and all the stress that comes from planning a wedding during a pandemic… these two never took their eyes off of Christ and knew their day would be perfect in its own way. It surely was!
It is an honor and a joy to know these two, their heart for The Lord, and be trusted to capture these once in a lifetime moments for them. We laughed and cried SO MUCH. We sipped coffee downtown, frolicked through the streets and then we partied all night with glow sticks. Gosh I love my job!!! How could I ever ask for more?!
